- A swollen red-orange star swells in at the cursor, its surface boiling under a hot corona.
- Draw
- The star pulses as it follows the cursor, shedding a glowing plasma trail that flickers with convection, cooling from white-hot to deep red, and throwing off embers.
- Release
- The star collapses, then blows in a flash: a shock ring and an expanding nebula shell of ejecta race out, leaving a tiny neutron star whose two pulsar beams sweep round for a moment before fading.
