First Snow

Start: A soft crystalline twinkle at the cursor as the first flakes appear.
Draw: The line settles into a soft drift of snow with blue shadows and glints, snow-laden firs grow up beside it, intricate six-armed snowflakes drift down tumbling, a snowman is built ball by ball (carrot nose, scarf and bobble hat), and now and then a red cardinal flies in to perch on a fir.
Release: A gust of wind lifts a swirl of snow powder off the drift and spins flakes up with it; they settle as the scene fades and the birds fly off.

With Auto on, Input.Observer switches to this style Dec 1 – Jan 31 (north), winter's first two months; Northern Lights has the rest.
