Refund policy

14 days, no questions asked

If you're not happy with a purchase, you can get a full refund within 14 days of buying it. You don't have to give a reason.

How to ask

Our orders are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, so the refund comes from Paddle:

  • use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or find your order at paddle.net; or
  • write to us at [email protected] with your order number (it is in your purchase email) and we'll arrange it.

Paddle returns the money to the payment method you used. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

After 14 days

After 14 days we don't normally refund. We do look at every request, and we'll always put right a duplicate purchase or an order whose key or purchase file never reached you.

What a refund changes

Input.Observer checks your license on your own computer and never contacts us, so we can't switch off a copy that's already activated. A refund still ends the purchase:

  • A refunded license is no longer a license. Under the license agreement you may keep using Input.Observer only for the rest of its trial period, if any. Our store stops accepting the refunded key: it can't be used to buy styles, and we won't resend it.
  • Refunded styles are no longer yours to use. A refund of some of the styles in an order doesn't affect the rest of the order or your license.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking for a refund, Paddle handles the dispute. Please write to us first: a refund is quicker for everyone.

This policy is in addition to any right you have under the law where you live. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, for example, you have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase; this policy gives you at least that, whether or not you have already downloaded or activated the software.
