Checkered Flag

Start: A row of start lights comes on red, red, red, then turns green.
Draw: A small open-wheel race car drives the path, laying dark tyre marks, throwing tyre smoke on tight turns, with speed streaks flicking past.
Release: The car carries on past the line as a checkered flag pops up and waves at the release point in a burst of confetti.
